Pornography is Communist

The following is a true story.

ImageOnce a man was walking around campus at the university he was about to attend.  It was one of the most advanced universities in the country.  They offered every sport imaginable including many sports clubs and extracurricular activities.  As the man was looking at the brochure of all the activities the university offered, one of them caught his eye more than anything else.  “COMMUNIST CLUB” it read in bold, all-capitalized letters.  The man was just starting his freshman year in college so he wasn’t sure what to expect.  He had learned about communism on a very basic level in high school, but decided he would check out what the Communist Club was like.  He thought he should be very open-minded now that he was in college, so he decided to go to one of their meetings.

The meeting the young man sat in on turned out to be a meeting for the Club’s upcoming recruitment events.  He walked in the door and announced he wanted to know the ins and outs of what they were about, so the Club allowed him to sit in on the meeting despite not being initiated yet.  The man took a seat in one of the open chairs in the back of the room.  There were about 30 people in the room; most only a year or two older than the man.  The person leading the discussion (and, presumably, the leader of the Club) was a 50 year old man who turned out was a professor at the university.  They were disappointed with only 30 members in this Club at such a large university so they began speaking about what they could do to make their numbers increase.Image

As the members in the Club kept guessing different and different tactics to make Communism sound more appealing, the young man sat silent.  Even he knew these tactics would be unsuccessful.  Likewise, the leader of the Club shook his head unfavorably at each suggestion.  After a few minutes of guessing ideas, the room fell silent.  The leader cleared this throat and said “Pornography”.

Now the young man paid even closer attention.  Actually, everyone in the room did.  They knew their leader was very wise, but they didn’t know where he was going with this.  He explained very logically what Communism actually was.  The leader explained that Communism was not some Marxist idea of a utopia (from the Greek – “no place”), but rather is slavery.  That is Communism at its core.  It is not about equality or fairness or even about a lack of privatization.  It is about the abolition of privatization.  Speaking politically, everything belongs to the government.  Speaking religiously (man’s quest for God), the state is your god.  The leader went on to explain to the members of the Club that these are the same principles of pornography.

“When a person watches pornography, he becomes enslaved by it.  Sometimes they are repulsed and can’t look away fast enough.  Those people are not cut out for Communism.  But more times than not it is quite literally a drug.  It is just as addictive as any illegal drug and it causes the same effects.  But we cannot endorse illegal drugs.  The students at this university are old enough to legally watch porn, so that is the means by which we will recruit them.”

“See, if we can addict young men and women to pornography we can prove they are willing to be held as slaves; just as heroin, meth, and other addicts are slaves to the drugs.  This is just a legal way of doing it.  Most people are smart enough to stay away from hardcore drugs anyway.  But pornography is much more tempting to young people.”

Image“Once they are slaves, we can convince them to be slaves of us as well.  Once enslaved, enslavement becomes a type of crutch to young people, thus tempting them to deal with the slavery by finding another enslavement.  We can be that enslavement!  But it starts with pornography.”

I wish this were a made up story, but it is not.  Maybe the title for this article isn’t what it should be.  Clearly pornography and Communism are different things.  One is a thing and one is an ideology.  What I mean, however, is that the principles are the same.  Intrinsically, what they are made of is the same.  Their existence is the same.  They are slavery.

When I was growing up I thought pornography was funny.  I thought jokes about that sort of thing were hilarious.  And I think that’s the danger in it.  Recently I have seen jokes on social media referencing pornography.  Pictures of delicious-looking food titled “food porn”, as if pornography wasn’t a very serious thing.  Entire Facebook fan pages devoted to women taking their clothes off.  People still think this stuff is funny.

The only way to combat this is to teach others that it isn’t funny.  It is slavery.  And it’s enslavement that a huge majority of young men (and a surprising percentage of women) fall into.  I haven’t conducted any study on my own, but I have heard anywhere from 50% to 98% of men have been addicted to pornography at one point in time.  I have heard the percentage of women is closer to 33%.  Please, if you have a friend struggling with this enslavement, help them.
